New Physics in Cp-violating Observables for Beauty
After the present establishment of CP-Violation in Bd-physics, consistency tests of unitarity in the Standard Model and the search of new phenomena are compulsory. I illustrate the way to look for T-violation, without contamination of absorptive parts, in correlated decays in B-factories. Bs-mixing and penguin-mediated Bs-decays are of prime importance in hadronic machines to look for new physics.

We perform a systematic study of CP-violating observables in D0/D̄0 decays. We show that given a final state, which may be a CP eigenstate or not, all the observables can in principle be measured if decay-time information is available and if, for CP non-eigenstates, both decay rates into f and f̄ are considered. As an illustration of our analysis we discuss an effective superweak scenario.

We present a general model-independent and rephase-invariant formalism that cleanly relates observables to the fundamental parameters and explicitly separates different types of CP violation in the B 0-, D 0-and K 0-systems. We emphasize its importance when interpreting experimental measurement of CP violation, the unitarity triangle, and probes of new physics.
